Candy Delivery - June 16, 2008 : Chuck Evans and Allan Rice picked up a donation of candy from Longs Drug Store on Folsom Blvd. How fast could the candy be loaded and unloaded in our Sacramento heat? Not a piece of candy was lost! Thanks guys! There is nothing like a piece of candy (chocolate) when you are under the stress of having an ill child! Welcome Backpacks - August 3, 2007 : Andi, Brisa and Rhys decided they wanted to do something for the children at the Ronald McDonald House. They set up a Lemonade Stand to sell cookies and lemondade to raise money. They took their proceeds and made Welcome Backpacks for the children. Great job! Brand Source Refrigerator Donation - July 16, 2007 : Recently, Brand Source generously donated much-needed appliances to the House. Brand Source annually donates appliances and electronics to Ronald McDonald Houses across the country. With the number of families that call the House their ‘home away from home’ things such as refrigerators, dishwashers and TVs are especially important in making families feel at home. Napa HOG Furniture Donation - May 3, 2007 : The Napa Solano Harley Owner's Group got together and raised money to purchase new patio furniture for the families. Then, they went out and purchased the patio furniture, delivered it to the House, and put it all together. Our old furniture was worn and ready for retirement.
